Spalding ladies 1s had a strong start, putting pressure on Peterborough early. Spalding 3s hosted City of Peterborough 6s with a Spalding starting of the better team with Ben Scholes scoring first to make it 1-0. Peterborough quickly responded to make it 1-1. Spalding ladies 1s came away from home to play a table topping team, st Neots 1s. Knowing this would be a difficult game, did not cause spaldings defence to panic. In a gripping encounter between Spalding and Long Sutton, Spalding dominated possession throughout the first half, orchestrating numerous attacks with several short corners and shots on goal.
