Report: 3rd XI Men vs St Neots 2 – November 18, 2023
Spalding 3s travelled to St. Neots 2s with a tough game ahead. St. Neots started the stronger side but Spalding soaked up a lot of the pressure but 15 minutes in St. Neots broke the deadlock. Spalding won some penalty corners and had some half chances on the counter attack but couldn’t score and St. Neots were more clinical and scored 2 more to make it 3-0 at half time.
Second half started as the first half finished but with Spalding having a lack of substitutions so Spalding began to run out of steam in their defence of St. Neots relentless attacks and St. Neots scored 6 in the second half to finish the game 9-0.
