Spalding ladies 1st  1 – 2  Cambridge city 4

On a very late Wednesday evening spalding traveled to Cambridge. Spalding wanted to start the game with very fast pace and that is exactly what they did with great attacking play form the forwards Ellie holland and Lauren Spenceley a short corner was won in the 6th minute which Evie Maltby converted 1-0 to spalding this made Cambridge come back even stronger with attack after a attack but the defence of sally , Evie  and tabitha no goals were scored until Cambridge won a short corner and they short deflected of a spalding player on the line where the umpires gave a plenty stoke which they converted the first half ended 1-1 spalding was wanting to start the second half just how they started the first with great attacking play and creating many chances with runs form Kate and tabitha but spalding could not manage to find the net with Cambridge needing the win to make them top of the league they throw everything at spalding in the last 10 minutes with spalding still defending very well Cambridge managed to get a goal game ended 2-1

Thank you to all the travelling supporters
