Spalding traveled to a rainy Cambridge, with a late push back. Spalding started the game well with great attack play using the wings form Amy Naylor and Kate Ames’s with Ellie holland taking shots in the D but none were converted, Cambridge then started pilling on the pressure with attack after attack with the bounce of the pitch with lead to spalding mistakes Cambridge got 2 goals in quick succession. Spalding were still determined to get goals with great attack play form Lauren spencely but Cambridge came back and scored another goal with the first half ending 3-0 spalding re grouped after a tough team talk and started to get used to the bounce on the pitch we play starting to link up well and great defence performances. With the rain really starting to pour now Cambridge sprung another quick attack which court spalding of guard and made it 4-0. We still wanted to score a goal, Ellie holland took the ball and went past the Cambridge defence and smashed the ball into the bottom corner. The game ended 4-1 to Cambridge.
