Spalding continued the second half much the same and 15 minutes into the half Spalding got their second goal by Graeme Matthews to make it 2-0. Cambridge South put pressure on and got a goal back with 10 minutes to go but Spalding held against Cambridge South late pressure for an equaliser to win the game, 2-1.
