Spalding Ladies 1’s hosted a cold home game to Cambridge University. The games started with both teams fighting hard for possession with it being evenly split. Spalding utilised the width attacking down the wings by Kate and Tabs progressing into the away teams half. Cambridge faught hard using a quick break to open the score board. 

After an inspiring team talk Spalding entered the second half with a positive outlook. The second half started very much the same as the first with equal possession from both teams. Spalding won a short corner which Ellie converted. Cambridge once again capitalised on quick breaks ending the game 4-1 to them.
