Spalding 3s hosted March 2s on a wet and rainy afternoon. Spalding started well with Glenn Richardson converting an early penalty flick to make it 1-0. March equalised with a penalty flick and two quick goals to make it 3-1 but Spalding dug in deep and Glenn Richardson got his hattrick to make it 3-3 for half time.
Second half started very evenly contested with both sides having chances but March again getting a two goals lead at 5-3. Spalding pulled it back again with a back post goal during a short corner from Andy Barlow and an equaliser from Ben Scholes to make it 5-5. Both teams fighting for a winning goal but neither team could find one.
