Spalding went into the game strong, maintaining majority of possession during the first quarter. We transferred the ball around well and had some unfortunate shots on goal . Cambridge also came out strong and managed to set the score 5-0 at half time . After a constructive half time talk, Spalding was determined to keep battling . Cambridge could not convert there short corners due to the strong defence . Spalding was using the width well and kept their heads up. Due to no fault of trying Cambridge added another 3 goals to the scoreboard. In the very final minute Erin and Charlotte battled hard in the D and managed to get a penalty flick , Charlotte stepped up and scored but unfortunately the goal was disallowed. Spalding showed great teamwork and communication and should all be proud of themselves .
