On a quiet Sunday morning, Spalding Ladies 3s delivered a commanding performance in their latest fixture securing a well deserved 6-0 victory, after a dominant first half that ended 5-0.
The match showcased excellent attacking intent quick ball movement and strong team playing across the pitch. From the first whistle Spalding set the tone with high energy and relentless pressure on the opposition defence. The forwards wasted no time with the opening goal coming within the first few minutes thanks to a well placed shot after a swift move from Chloe P.
The goals continued to flow with Spalding taking full advantage of their attacking opportunities having many but fail to get the goal. Midfield control proved vital as a well placed pass from Lucy M managed to help MOM Khloe B score the 2:0 goal.
Spalding managed to then convert a short corner into a goal that was put away by Lucy W 3:0. After a dry spell, forward Lucy M score a strike 4:0 Then Jess P slipped in the ball to, current league top goal scorer Isla W, who showed us why she holds that title by managing to place a strike ball in the goal making the score 5:0, ending the first half.
The second half saw a more measured approach as Spalding focused on maintaining possession and managing the game. While chances continued to be created the opposition tightened their defence and only one more goal was added to the tally a well worked team effort that demonstrated patience and precision.
Defensively Spalding remained solid throughout with the back line and goalkeeper Anya ensuring a clean sheet while another goal was conceived by spalding due to a nice cross into the D allowing Khloe D to slip the ball pass the goalkeeper ending 6:0

A great all round team performance with goals spread across the attack and a solid defensive display to match. With this result Spalding Ladies 3s continue to show their strength and cohesion and they will be looking to carry this momentum into their next game.
