Spalding suffered a narrow 4-2 defeat away at third placed Cambridge City.

City started to find there stride with some good passing on a very bumpy pitch and they scored three goals before half time to take a 3-1 lead at half time
Spalding reduced arrears in the first minute of the second half as Richardson finished coolly having beaten the keeper.
Spalding continued to battle but defensive indecision saw City add a fourth and for all if Spalding’s efforts they couldn’t find a way back into the game.
