On a bright sunny afternoon Spalding played second in the league St Ives at home. It started off well with Spalding dominating the first ten minutes. Unfortunately, shortly afterwards St Ives managed to score their first goal. There was brilliant play throughout the game from Spalding and plenty of opportunities for both sides; the first half ended 3-0 to St Ives. After a good team talk and some very juicy oranges Spalding were raring to go and determined to score some goals. Unfortunately, even with the brilliant play from Spalding and an unfortunate, painful head injury to a Spalding player they just couldn’t find the back of the net. The final score was 7-0 to St Ives.

Man of the match went to Erin McMurray, Camille Rogers, and Tabby Green today for their fantastic efforts throughout the game.
