Spalding travelled to Cambridge knowing they faced a tough afternoon at the uni pitch. The game started with Cambs uni on the front foot and they quickly took control of the game scoring 3 quick goals to put the game out of reach for the young Spalding side. The game continued with Spalding chasing the ball but they did manage to score after 25 mins when a quick break found Adolfo Chantre who slotted under the keeper. The second half saw Cambs uni score a further 4 goals to make the final score 7-1.
