Report: 3rd XI Men vs Pelicans 3 – September 21, 2024

Spalding 3rd XI got their Div 4NW league season off to a flying start with a 7-2 victory over Pelicans 3rd XI
After an even start Spalding burst to life scoring 5 unanswered goals before half time, with Glenn Richardson helping himself to a hatrick with further strikes from Charlie Smith and Glenn Perkins 
 
The second half was slower paced in the September sun as the two sides shared 4 goals, with a further goal for Richardson and an excellent finish from Sam Willerton to round off the scoring. 
 
Spalding travel to Kettering 3 for their second game of the season next week
