  Spalding ladies 2’s went into saturdays game with great anticipation, knowing a win would take them to the top of the league.  Nerves were in abundance but with strong leadership from the ladies’ coach Barney and captain/vice Zoë and Karen we knew it was ours for the taking. Spalding 3s travelled away to Cambridge Nomads 3s. Both teams couldn’t get into the flow of the game as tackles and fouls broken the game down. Nomads eventually broke the deadlock late with the only goal of the first half. Spalding 3s travelled away to Wisbech 3s with both teams evenly contested throughout the first half. Both teams were only separated by a penalty flick scored by Wisbech.
